So if I ref in this tournament, is there potential to make a little more than the $50 per game? :D ;)

If so, I'll be contacting JB right away. :D

still will commend ghouse for being passionate about soccer. It's still better for others to say he's good instead of himself telling people he's good. That's my point.

It's well known the try hard team is the local Thompson or Cariboo team in the loops.

drive safely ghouse and enjoy the hanger party.

As an organizer of a tournament, I can appreciate the effort that Ghouse has put into his tournament and I commend him for that. How he wants to run it is his business and I will leave that for others to discuss but DO NOT drag the Nations Cup tournament into this discussion.

WaynesWorld you are not a member of our organizing committee and no nothing about how our tournament is run. We have NEVER fixed the draw and even went so far as doing it live on TTP last year and hope to do it live every year if possible. As the organizers, we do not even have a team in the tournament as people play for the Flag not the Club. As for the profits of the tournament, the majority of it goes to a charitable society because of the bylaws of the City. The very small extra is spread throughout the local soccer clubs of various age groups that contribute their time and efforts to running the tournament.

Good luck to all involved in the tournament and just remember that it is easy to sit on the sidelines and bitch and complain. If you think you can help make things better than step up and offer to help.

The lecture is over,

Gnome, the West Van Labour Day tournament welcomes as many women's teams as possible, all divisions. Preference though to ladies who like to dance, because Shakira will be making an appearance on the Saturday at Tantra.

Shakira? :D WTF? What time is our first match, Sir M......I mean the West Van Masters team? It looks like we might be able to field a team for the tournament and I should know by the end of the week/weekend if that works? Let me know. Cheers.

I am shocked no one is talking about Fiji abandonning the tournament. Maybe 6 nil at the half will do that to you...

Is it just me, or is it a pretty dull tournament so far? The beer garden is quiet. What gives? Compared to Kamloops and the Nations Cup, very quiet indeed.
