The North Shore Coaches League (NSCL) is looking for a few Masters teams interested in playing summer soccer. We play Tuesday and Thursday nights in North Vancouver and the league runs from early May to late June.

Did you use a hotmail or yahoo account to sign up with? There have been a number of problems reported with these 2 email providers. In most cases hotmail simply rejects the approval email from the forum.

What about the rest of the venues?!? Less than a week to go and nobody knows when or where they're playing.
Sir M has a great point, players got work schedules, family obligations, etc. Come on BCSA get it together!
CSide can correct me if I'm wrong but if there are 2 teams tied on points then the first tie-breaker is "record against each other" and the 2nd tie-breaker is "goal-difference".

What can you say? I think at the half it was anyone's game but Malone's lack of fitness (and lack of depth) did them in during the second half. Maybe if some bodies had bothered to come to training it would have been a different result.

Rumor is that the NSCL gets 3 spots in the BC's. This has not been confirmed as far as I know. CSide?
First Round - April 17/18
Second Round - April 24/25
Semi Final - May 1/2
Finals - May 8, 12:00pm at Coquitlam Town Center

Although the league fees might be high compared to other leagues, it is WELL worth the money. We're not a bunch of 19 year olds working retail - we should be able to afford the extra cost to enjoy the benefits we get.
The turf is great to play on and we rarely see a cancellation...

I have to agree with CSide, the referees are MUCH better this year than the last few. It has been a welcome change. On the other hand, the ref that did the Coveside/Malones and the Nordic/Seymour was complete crap. He should not be reffing at this level.
