as opposed to being embarassed at home by an SPL side.
Somewhere in there I know there's a subliminal VMSL/FVSL superiority complex slag imbedded into all that.
as opposed to being embarassed at home by an SPL side.
His cross for Berba's 3rd goal was quality.
i see man u beat my old club in the carling cup, also seen the streaker too lol.
Apparently, they battered us in the 1st half MB10. A typcial Carling Cup lineup but good to see Chris Smalling get his first for the club and Michael Owen get a brace. Bebe made his debut as well which was good to see. Hopefully, the young'uns will have a good run in the Cup as it's their best way to get any sort of experience at that level.
It is only a matter of time till Man U takes top spot.
Wish I could agree with you but after that performance yesterday, there's a slim & none chance that we'll win the title this year. Even with his gloves on , Rooney didn't look half the player he did last year. We are really missing that cutting edge in the opposition's final third. We can keep possession all day but if we struggle to break down backline's like Bolton, Rangers, etc., then we're fcuked.
On another note ..... watched the City / Chelsea game on Saturday morning. Quite impressed with City ...... their midfield and backline are excellent. Tevez took his goal well but have to question Cole & Terry's defending or lack thereof. At that level, do you honestly let a striker run 40 yards with the ball at you while you're backing off ?? To City's credit (and I can't believe I'm saying this), they made Chelsea look average.
6 games in and all to play for ......
I am certainly concerned with United at the moment but the back line is worrying more than Rooney but only just.
1st goal by Bolton (Knight), was due to some typical marking by you know who In the post-game commentary Iain Dowie said straight up that Evans has been horrible this season. What will it take, Walks, for you to see sense
Walks said:Evans has struggled this year. He's made some rash decisions especially in his own area ..... he's young and he'll improve. United have traditionally had strong centre halves so he'll get the proper coaching I'm sure.
Absolutely agree with everything you said, Walks. We'll have to wait and see if Evan's gets some "proper" coaching. He's been there enough years now, so he needs to start performing some time soon.
I suppose it's a bit unfair to knock O'Shea, as he's never had the chance to settle in one position. It's his pace that'll cost him at times. I think even Smallsy would have him over 50 yards.
Cheers, big ears.
