Yes, because it's been done before and we don't need any more Bronze medals coming back to this province...
Sorry to miss out lads - I'm glad the boys got a point of of you though considering they were short.
Next round definitely is on me Dickens.
And, the Surrey vs. West Van golf tourney is on this summer stateside down at the hacienda for sure mate.

Partly, I did not play with our master's team but I did play for our U21 team as they were missing players. The kids had no medical kit, no heat rub, no advil, so at appoxiamately the 88th minute of the game someone went down with no one around him cramping up pretty bad. We won 7 -1, I brought experience.

PCOV 2 WIckid group of guys 1
Not to sure where to start except to say we didn t have a goalie cause our #1 goalie had the flu, #2 goalie was shipped to the NSCL in big trade. So our manager had to look in the archieves cause we were desperate. Low and behold we came across someones resume which read: 12 All-star appearances in the vmsl, 7 consecutive games with a shut out, 10 winning seasons, 6 straight saved penalties which ties a vmsl record, and lastly looks like a younger planks with hair! So we made the call up to the one and only "SCP"
I also wanna mention there is 1 classy team from the vmsl masters that plays in the northshore. There are no jagtards on this team, there are no guys bigger than a city, there are no guys that call themselves Sir, they have no dicks that drink ciders, they have no planks holding up there nets, they don t have no egos that sore like eagles, and lastly they don t have anyone that calls there balls, baby. These guys are fast in the back, they have great moving midfielders, and there forwards are skillful and fast. All around a great team and a great group of guys...
GAme starts off with PCOV with possession but not going too much forward as Wickham are defending very well. 20 minutes in Porks make a bad pass back to SCP but the ball doesn t go far enough. Wickham with a clear cut breakaway but SCP with a GREAT save. Game goes back and forth but Wickham generating a lot off counters and while PCOV playing possession. Porks finally get one when there italian stud barries one top shelf where city keeps his viagra. Wickham get a few more chances but half ends 1-0.
Second half starts same way.. POrks with possession but Wickham generating there chances off counter attacks. 25 minutes in Wickhams defenders makes a beautiful run up the gut of the porks and dishes it off to their midfielder. Midfielder breaks in and puts the ball behind SCP. Game tied 1-1. After that the porks woke up and start putting pressure. I think Wickham were content with the 1-1 tie as they started sitting back. PCOV finally get one with a highlight reel goal from the greek god Peschi. Porks go up 2-1 and hold onto the lead as Wickham gave it all they got but couldn t get the equalizer on a cold winter nite.
GAme could of gone either way but at the days end it was the right result.
Man of the Match goes to SCP. And for that complimentary drinks and chicken wings at the PCOV club located in the heart of commercial drive

Clearly I've got to try a lot harder and am gutted that I'm not #1. I thought that I've put in a good solid effort the last couple weeks. However, I do find it too painful even acknowledging some of Fantubby's diatribe on TTP. I often think that reading some of his posts are like reading a novel written by Mr. Base. Quite obvious that Fantubby consumed a lot of paint chips as a child and teenager. Actually, I am sure they are still a staple in his diet ........ at least his posts indicate that.

Wow, I move up the list without doing anything. Just so you know, and not that I really care Fantabulous, I play for Surrey United. So that private message you sent me stating I had a good game just after your match vs West Van, shows me you don't have a clue who I am. I am sure the West Van right-mid would appreciate the compliment. Or maybe you do know who I am, and that I am Greek-Canadian and are still pissed off about 2004. Let it go. Not to sure whats more painful, my diatribe on TTP or WEStvans offensive outburst in the vmsl masters division!
Your guys lack of offense is gonna cost you first place as Columbus and Sapperton will both over take you guys, but with Notty on the team i think you guys will get #1 overall in the barbecuing department.
As far as i am concerned i think half of you guys are due for retirement in the off season

I completely disagree with the rankings. I call him a berry farmer and move down the ranks not up. Must try harder.

Steve you might have to try harder to crack the top 3. Looking back over the weekend it might be quantity over quality that really gets the judges noticing you.
